I got in to Amateur radio because I liked Morse code.Things have changed so much that I don't even turn the FT (() on very seldom. As soon as I made Extra class,I lost all interest in Ham radio. No Morse, fantasy call signs.Glorified CB to me now.I had a lot of fun 30 years ago,but now I just can't get into amateur radio. The old FT 990 just sits there and draws dust!

I had a TS-520 back in the 70's, very nice rig. I still have my Junker Key and use it often. I took the cover off mine so I can see all the mechanical parts. An R/O on a ship gave it to me years ago. 73, Randy, w5kcm

the TS520 is superb .. a joy.. cw is a vital skill, weeds out the half hearted.
