Z-TY Racing wins at Dixie Speedway

Tonight Chris Sizemore and the Z-Ty Racing team scored their first victory of the year. Chris started on the outside pole and jumped out to an early and substancial lead. After leading the first eight laps a caution fell on the race which tightened the feild with a double file restart. When the green flag flew to go back racing the lead was not challenged for the remainder of the race. Keith Morton of Mabelton finished second followed by Sammy Ballard of Dallas. Sizemore stated after the race, "We got a little luck on our side tonight with a good draw that allowed us to start on the front row. I knew if we could jump out front it would be difficult to get around us." Tonights victory puts Sizemore in the lead for the second leg of the points championship and second in the overall points battle. - June 17, 2006-
