Ace Combat Zero Airshow

(That would be the full name of the video :P )

Piloted mostly by myself (using both controls)- so manuevers were quite limited to what I've had time so far to practice with. (About an hour last night, spend all day today cutting and splicing scenes together) Eventually going to try to do more complex manuevers like cobras, immelmans, etc.

As in the end credits, the film is dedicated to Namco, Ace Combat fans, Neoseeker's Ace Combat forum fanatics, and Beterhans who made a pretty badass airshow film that inspired me to take a crack at it. Thanks folks!

Ace Combat X for the psp may be the first Ace game with some sort of online/link connectivity, and hopefully that should be enough to inspire Namco to broaden the range of playability a bit.

that wasnt a wing man I know. I played ace combat a million times my wing never followed me that damn close. You and you partner must of spent ton of time practicing and rehursing those manuvers before doing this video. Keep it up post more. Try and get a 3rd pilot this get the critics off your back who dont believe,

Critics can bite me. I did most of that myself using two controls, which resulted in the limited maneuvers you see. I did a test run video in coop using the Falken. That one was a little less coordinated but is what it'd look like if players tried it themselves instead of using two controls. Won't be making any more videos of Ace until they release one on the PSP. They announced Assault Horizon, let's just hope it follows through and doesn't end up on xbox only.

No, the wingmen in these games don't copy your moves, they just follow you, pretty loosely at that. HAWX wingmen tend to imitate your moves but at an unrealistic level. (They're like magnets)

How do you get a jet to do the same things your doing? I dont think theres an airshow mode

There isn't an airshow mode. This is just a million recorded battle replays (vs mode) that I recorded with a PC capture card, then spliced together into one movie with windows movie maker. Took a whole day, but was worth it.
