The Coromandel Coast has very little forest today. Remnant sacred groves remind us that a coastal forest did exist. Can this forest be revived? Auroville Coastal-area Development Center (ACDC) and Shakti have initiated the experiment in the Tsunami-affected coastal area. From selecting the right species to protecting the sapling in face of all apprehensions - the film tells us the steps taken to establish a plantation that one day is deemed a forest. What are the benefits and whaere does it fit, in the face of rapid development?
