Tried flying a Wingo RC plane that a co-worker from Transmeta gave me years ago (thanks again, Richard!). Given that I don't know how to fly R/C planes, I consider this first flight a tremendous success. Some damage, easily repaired. Camera work by my son Will, age 9 (who I promised would get a chance to try flying it as soon as I figure out how to do it myself).
I put a tail wheel on the back of my Wingo for take-offs from the ground. It works.

It's stalling because it has not been balanced correctly. This plane may look funny to some but is a highly capable aircraft that can fly to a couple thousand feet (not legally) and carry HQ still camera or a video camera. You can also get floats and operate off water. A favorite of aerial photog hobbyists. ...but 1st a simulator like Real Flight is HIGHLY recommended.
