Our 71 kg bullmastiff is quite eager to go for a swim in the local lake. He jumps in the water on our command but we have a long leash on him just to make sure we can get him back on the ground again.

  • my bull mastiff is so stupid he will swim in shallow water and then beings to panic when it get a little deep acting like he's drowning

  • I just got my Bull Mastiff, hes only 3 months old, but when it gets warmer ( 4 - 5 months from now) are they good swimmers??

  • our bb wil not go in to water unless your drowning of course

  • The leash is on him because he is SO fond of swimming that we are afraid we can't get him to the shore again if we took it off. We fear that he will swim too far out and get surprised when he gets tired - I don't know how rational this fear is but we do NOT want to loose him drowning. Perhaps we will find a shallow and small lake where we can try and let him swim without the leash... :-)
