I have been interested in this anime for a while, I would really like to see it. But hey - are Gun and Hideyoshi friends of rivals? I haven't been able to really figure it out.

They are rivals. Ive watched this ova multiple times but in raw jap but i still get the gist of the story. But there are many scenes in the ova when they are VERY unfriendly to each other but the still have respect for one another.

@kikelambs Well to be honest with you i have no idea where you can get this on DVD. I got a VCD copy in chinatown in london by complete luck looking through random boxs. You can try ask this Youtube user called "inukoya" as he has uploaded it on Youtube and the video looks DVD Quality. Sorry mate but good luck finding it.
