But seriously, there's nothing really inherently "wrong" with strollers. Babies tend to be happier when carried by mom or dad, but if you want to use a stroller, use a stroller. It's also nice not to have to lug around a heavy stroller.

Baby Led Weaning is skipping the cereals and purees, and starting babies off with "real" food... just bite-size pieces of food, usually whatever the rest of the family is eating. You do realize that being "crunchy" is nothing new, right? It's how it was done for thousands of years before iPhones, baby monitors, formula, cows pumped full of hormones, etc. Being crunchy is just going back to basics.

Also, most "crunchy" people don't shove their beliefs down everyone's throats... it's just that those who do get the most attention. Which sucks. Most "crunchy" families just want to do what they believe is best for them.

Never said anything was. :) We use one occasionally, and more often now that our little one is older, but I think it is more comforting to both baby and mother to be close. I can't number the times my Moby has saved us, even just indoor use, when our daughter was teething especially.

Its not the mothering its the way the mothering is expressed. If someone wants to be organic and such that's fine but most of America doesn't give a shit. I've got plenty of friends that are full Vegan and I'm a born Carnivore you know why we get along. They don't shove it in my face and treat me like I'm beneath them for my lifestyle choice and I respect their choice because guess what Free Will is a thing.
