  • I know better, I have been building and repairing guitars for many years.

You are VERY good with computers. Where do you build? What state?

  • @jstoswt Can't wait to see your videos. I love to see different techniques on building and better ways of doing things.

  • Hello moc,

I prefer epoxy on the braces just due to the added strength and stiffness. When designing this bracing, I paid a lot of attention to Smallman's bracing system where he covers the braces in carbon fiber. I think it adds to the way the string energy gets transferred to the top.

Yes, the top bracing gets shaped when I voice the top (vid soon to be up at website). How you shape those braces will really determine the sound of the guitar.

    Thanks for watching!

OUCH!!! My friend, God bless you for your effort; However......

Where did you learn to build guitars? How long have you been doing it for?

  • hey HT,

Thanks for the vid, a few questions,

Why do you use epoxy, rather than wood glue, and do you carve down the top bracing?

keep the vids coming, I am loving that guitar

    Thx
