'One Way' is really impressive and sometime even shocking Drama/Thriller. The acting was brilliant and the storyline wasn't typical. Lauren Lee Smith was definitely the most stunning here. Sebastien Roberts was perfect as villain. Til Schweiger was awesome and it was great to see my lovely Stefanie von Pfetten.

@WSTalindra Lauren Lee Smith was born in Vancouver and is therefore Canadian, which means that her native language is definetely English. And the movie was mainly shot in Canada, Toronto (Only parts of it were filmed in New York City and Köln, Germany).

And having difficulties in expressing yourself doesn't necessarily mean that you aren't fluent in the particular language, but that you want to find the right words for your description and think about your statement twice.

She doesn't sound Anglo-Saxon. Her "ant" instead of "and", and the fact that the movie was shot in Germany make me think that she might be German.

But whatever her nationality is, English is still not her mother tong, so her hesitations and difficulties to express in English are normal. '^^
