It's so strange, seeing the puppeteers practicing. One moment the horses are alive, full of life, fighting, and then they suddenly fall limp... deflated... and you remember that they never were alive to begin with.

It's really amazing watching these guys in rehearsal and seeing the amount of effort that goes into making a production as incredible as War Horse, and it's the same for any theatre production, the people who work backstage to make it happen don't get nearly as much credit as they should.
