  • @lovesGenet Are you also including Lang, Wilder, Stroheim, and Wyler in that, 'cuz them's fightin' words!

  • A wonderful, poignant, beautifully crafted film - a minor masterpiece about the nature of unrequited love - or more accurately, obsession. Deeply and yet craftily 'knowing' about the nature of womanisers everywhere - the shallowness and emotional barrenness of some of those who allegedly love women. The period detail is exquisitely done, and the whole film is a delight.

  • @lovesGenet

    Lubitsch?

  • the only european to come to U.s. and actually make good movies except for Murnau

  • What a beautiful and heartbreaking film! I read Stefan Zweig's novel "Letter from an unknown woman" when I was 14 years old and cried my eyes out. The film is a perfect representation of the novel. The acting is just perfect! I would like to see Robert Pattinson remaking this beautiful film to introduce younger audiences to it.

  • O-o i luv louis thanks for the film i hope u upload the rest of it if u have any more movies of louis i'd be happy to suscribe! im a huge fan of his=]
