@americahealth You want to stand right up against the bench, then take a giant step forward. Lift your rear leg and place it on the bench. Try to place more of your toe on the bench. I Personally like to get a long reach when I do my bulgarian split squats, so I make sure that my lead leg is at a 90 degree angle and my back leg is stretched out. She is performing a great demonstration here. Just make sure when you perform the exercise to maintain good posture.

i think you have too much of your foot on the bench. try using only the top of your foot and drop down deeper when you lunge
