Since cat's ears are very sensitive then the high pitched sound of the phone ringer must have annoyed it that it decided to find a way to stop the noise (probably from watching it's owners answer the phone; it realises that wherever you remove the receiver the ringing stops)...smart kitty...who says animals arent inteliligent need to look at themselves first before they judge.

lol this is cool, i think they just get annoyed by the sound though, my cat broke my alarm clock once cuz i wasn't waking up to turn it off lol :P
