Here is my attempt at a "messy wave" hair style. (Sorry it cuts off quickly at the end.)

Tools: I used a 1" Revlon Curling Iron and a Redken Heat Protect Spray.

Tips:
- Dirty hair holds the curl/wave best
- Make sure iron is hot
-To achieve the messy look, leave about 1/2" out of the barrel.
- A little hair spray at the end will make the curls last longer.

  • doesnt it burn when your holding the hair??? (im sooo scared to burn myself)

  • @dontblameme5885 No, i just touch it slightly to see if my hair is warm. Don't touch the iron that part will be hot.

  • Can you do the same if you have short hair??

  • @mharder78 Yes, same technique, but probably a smaller size curling iron. Maybe 1/2 inch to 1 inch barrel size. Good luck!

  • It might be sad but I'd rather go to you than my own mother for these tips >_< You have so many videos it's so much easier to watch it several times and then do it on your own rather than be handed the curling iron and be told "you're doing it wrong" without observing anyone doing it.

  • @emily91p Just keep practicing and you will get it. I just uploaded another hair tutorial on how to create big, loose waves... Thanks for watching!
