1/7 Rolando Villazón - What Makes a Great Tenor?
BBC Four
2.06.2010

The great tenor Rolando Villazon takes us inside the world of the sexiest and most risky of all operatic voices. It's a journey which includes some of the great names of the past, such as Caruso and Lanza, and some of the brightest stars performing today, like Domingo, Alagna and Florez. We hear how they tackle their most famous roles and what the risks and rewards are.

  • This is funny enough, Rolando mentions great artists but what about the most dedicated tenor??, Alfredo Kraus. Where is his name said or written in this clip... amazing.

  • what is the name of the opera at 3:50?

  • @orangutan141, is a final part of "Ogni suo aver tal femmina" (La Traviata)

  • @mrluistena I agree, This is a great documental job, but Kraus can not miss

No pretendo inculcar nada sólo daba mi opinión.

  • @archeryguy1121 , is a final part of "Ogni suo aver tal femmina"

  • @teresa59 the one from "La Traviata" at 3:50

  • @archeryguy1121, what aria? the first? is "La donna è mobile", from Rigoletto.
