Holistic Management: You have look at the whole; you can't separate land, people, and livestock

You can never separate people from their land: you can never talk about livestock without talking about the land and the people; you can never separate biodiversity laws and desertification — when you look at the ecosystem, look at it as a whole ... if you try to "split" things, you will never really get to the bottom of the matter.
