I shot this video at Point Defiance Park Tacoma with Canon Vixia HF S10 at FXP (17mbps) setting. When I first rendered this 9:52 minutes video in highest quality WMV format it came to 5.5 GB in size. But for uploading in Youtube I converted into AVI using H.264 codec which brought the size down to around 900mb with slight loss in quality.
In this video you can see american wigeons, mallards, pochards and seagulls which are fairly common across Pacific Northwest.
I used a monopod for shooting which helps in stabilizing the camera and makes the video more viewable. I personally prefer monopod over tripod for video as it provides less restriction and better control over movements and camera angles.
you should have deinterlaced it better, but great footage.

Very nice video.
I find the Canon AVCHD cameras great for these types of videos. I am a monopod type of guy too.
