sexy sound? it it just the exhaust or did you beef up the engine (higher lift cam, better tranny, high compression pistons?) if so please let me know. I want my boxer to sound just as sexy so could you list brand/part name for any performace parts?

@b16bcivic @b16bcivic thanx mate. had a year off putting my street car back together but looking forward to taking the dust covers off this one 2012.
geared TALL so to see it really run it's legs at a proper circuit, search "D Pell beast" for vid of it........there some footage of it there monstering a WRX into submission ;)

That whining sound is most likely the transmission (straight cut gears), and not the engine. Other than that I think it sounds great as well!

the build is actually simple! extremely simple.. Haltech engine management system(ecu) they make plug and play wring harnesses for MOST tuner cars, and Kennedy Engineering makes an adaptor plate to mate the engine (whichever of your choice, almost) the rest is almost as easy as how good you are at turning wrenches..

eah heaps simple.....don't forget your 2L kombi box with straight cut gears,ZF limo diff, big CV joints and axles........water/air intercooling, mounting and bracing of all that gear, plumbing........decent suspension set up, bigger brakes...................
