Baldwin makes a great point in this video. I disagree with him on a lot of issues (immigration, health care, environment, gun control, etc.), but he is absolutely right about the two party system.
One thing I would add: not only could McCain not have won in 2008, but Obama could not have lost. Therefore, liberal populists should ALSO have felt free to vote for 3rd-party candidates, because Obama didn't need their votes
No vote is wasted, regardless of who or what you vote for! If people didn't vote for a person that would lose, then what was the purpose of all those millions voting for John McCain in the last election? Would everyone of those votes cast for him be wasted since he didn't win?
