Prepare your sushi maki by yourself ! With the Sushi Maki Set from Japanese Choice.
Ingredients:
Japanese Choice Cooked Sushi Rice 500g
Japanese Choice Sushi Rice Vinegar
Japanese Choice Nori Seaweed 3 sheets
Japanese Choice Japanese Style Soy Sauce
Japanese Choice Wasabi Powder
Japanese Choice Sushi Ginger
Choose your favorite sushi fillings, cut into thin strips : raw fish, cucumber, smoked salmon, cooked shrimp, omelette, tofu, sesame seeds, avocado, carrot, asparagus.
Directions:
1.Cut open rice pouch and place in microwave, warm for 2 minutes.
2. Fluff the rice in a bowl with a fork while adding the Japanese Choice Sushi Rice Vinegar, avoid packing the rice down. Remove any excess moisture by fanning while fluffing.
3.Pour the Japanese Choice Wasabi Powder in a small bowl, add 10ml of cool water and knead to form a soft paste.
4. Place a Nori sheet on the bamboo sushi mat . Whit wet hands, spread a layer of sushi rice evenly on the top of the laver, about 1/3 or 1/4 of the pouch. Place your favourite sushi fillings across the center of the rice and with the mat roll the combination tightly together, pressing the edge of the laver to form a seal.
6. Serve the Japanese Choice Japanese Style Soy Sauce in a small bowl for dipping. The wasabi paste can be added to the soysauce or spread a small amount onto the sushi rounds.
