Thats is what I did. The baby monitors set in corners of rooms. In an open home... one monitor can serve two or three rooms.. hands free.

Why wouldnt you fix mics around the rooms that would use it, it would get a better presentation, the whole idea of voice control is so you don't have to go to something or carry something, so why would u want the intercom or baby moniter

@mike081283 it would be pretty cheap to set up a blue tooth headset, but you could put mics all over your house for very very little. mics are like 5-10 bucks each. how many rooms do you have.

a blue tooth is worth 50, plus the pc adapter abotu 5.
