Henry and Vanessa observe conversations between Ben, Katie, and Andy regarding Eve. Chet is incensed when Alan visits Jennifer. Eve is stopped on her way out by Amanda.
So, in many ways Morgan might have had even more reason to possibly be suffering from instability than the rest of her messed up family. Within a space of 2 years she loses her father in a car accident (April 1980), runs away from home after a nasty encounter with her mom & nearly becomes a prostitute (Aug - Sept. 1980), gets raped (April 1981), goes into a shortterm coma ( June 1981), throws a fit a night before her wedding (Aug. 1981) & then cheats on her husband w/in a year.
I also forgot to mention shortly before this storyline of Evie's stalking came to ahead; Morgan had been kidnapped by the man who gave her so much trouble back in the summer of 1980 when she ran away to Chicago (Duke Lafferty, who had escaped from prison) & Duke raped Morgan in a farmhouse outside of Springfield. & then after this storyline of Evie's stalking, in early June '81, Morgan briefly was put in coma due to Tim Werner's (played by Christopher Mercantel, not Keven Bacon) drunk driving.
The AC summaries go on to state that Jennifer had a very difficult time calming down her daughter from the fit (this was Morgan #1, Kristen Vigard still in the role -- don't forget Morgan had already run away from home at one point back in the summer of 1980 because Jennifer found the birth control pills Nola gave Morgan). & then don't forget that after Jennifer Cooke took over shortly after honeymoon, Morgan got impatient at Kelly's long hours at Cedars & started that affair w/ Josh Lewis.
Although Morgan might not have been as disturbed as Amanda, Jennifer & her soon to be dead uncle Chet -- Morgan wouldn't always remain the picture of stability though. From summaries of the show from 1981 from the Atlanta Constitution, that I've read & have been transcribing it clearly states that Morgan on the night of the dress rehearsal for her wedding to Kelly (in middle August 1981) when Kelly had to be a no show due to an emergency operation at Cedars -- Morgan threw a big time fit.
I've been wishing the letter opener scenes from October 1980 would show up as well, but just hasn't happened from what I know.
These scenes verify what I've been writing from reading and writing down the summaries of GL from this time period, from the Atlanta Constitution, that Eve's 'sister' Rita Bauer (and Lenore Kasdorf) was still on the show as late as the 1st week of July 1981.
Ha ha! I liked this clip as well...Henry and Vanessa looking so "detective" like...i liked the entrance of Alan into Jennifer's house. Is there any clips of Jennifer and Lucille's face-off as i call it with the letter opener?
I didn't know she'd been raped. Wow what a sad life she had with all this going on.

Thanks for the detailed answer! I never knew about that. I guess if she had stayed around longer we would have seen more instability.

He was also charged with stealing information from Dr. McIntyre's files.
Andy's arrest would happen in the middle of August 1981.

Jennifer, her brother, and Amanda all seem so disturbed. I'm surprised Morgan was as normal as she was.
