the problem with the mac is but a bad thing
but i think ther will be anyway too find it
the android market is easy to istall search in youtube and you will see...
the problem with the codes... ok thats bad but the ipod is not better in this think xD
have you try the gps? no?
and what dives has so much thinks that you can use too make it better?
a dvb-t , battery, HDMI what want you more? an ipod havent this !

they released a new firmware couple days ago ...everything is fixed...

also if u buy from QVC you get a great deal on the 160gb model it is a bit more expensive BUT it comes with the full sat nav software FREEEEE woth £50 and a dvr snap on and a case and car mount and cigarrette charger GOOD DEAL!!!!!!!!!

the headbox dont work you have to press the shell to make it work every hour hanging Constant crashes (Do not wake up) always reset push button automatic standby after 20 min ,deathly! for me absolutely not usable Fm-Transmitter only usable with Headset Radio dont work good problems as an example Archos 605 WIFI Keep away of cheap Products :-( Dirty france Archos are cheaters and support are is unfriendly.bye bye Archos

I love my Archos 5. I just got VoIP calling to work on it. and I'm sure they will fix the youtube issue soon. Just be Patient!

If the bugs get worked out and access to the Android Market is opened I will likely give it another try. I really liked the hardware. As it stands now, however, it isn't for me.

A. It was updated
B. I calibrated in a variety of ways. My issue wasn't the calibration, it was the need to push harder than i am used to on the iPhone
C. I tried every possible combination of setting in the browser- that video is 7:19 minutes of hours of tweaking etc
D. My biggest issues- nickel and diming, lack of access to full Android app store, crashing etc... and most of the videos I transferred didn't play right.
Much I liked about the device- not enough
