The top of an abandoned 6-7 story theater in Detroit. The tallest spiral staircase I've ever seen led to a catwalk HIGH above the stage. The roof itself was boring, but the view of downtown was a unique one.

  • That area is usually referred to as the "Grid." It is used to do work on stage curtains and the counterweight system. You are very lucky! These are considered the most off limit and dangerous areas in most theatres.

    Other than, nice vid.

It was cool of the security to let you in.

Reminds me of this abandoned hospital myself and a few others explored in Downey, CA
