What a lot of you don't understand is in the 80's, 70's and 60's record companies and tv stations wanted an artist to lip-synch their own material, even if they were quite capable of singing live, because they were selling records and wanted to keep the "performance" exactly the same as the record. Siouxsie absolutely hated having to lip-synch her own stuff at times, and she would deliberately go out of her way to make it look bad just for spite.

Look, I dont know whats the deal here ,but it prob had to do with the production crew. Why you have to just put bad lypsynching comment just sounds like a dig.I have dealt with these synch issues in one of my com classes. They ask a band to go out live and dub a studio track in.Its a very difficult thing!

She never was good at that...i think she means to..lypsyncing is so lame

But I'm not knocking it, I love this video!!!!!

They cut off this REALLY beautiful ending/outtro thing, anyone else notice that? That part is also missing from an edit for radio, which is what I'm guessing is being used for this video's audio.

Holy Shit! that was the best version of that song. AND the best performance i've seen from them. they're all totally hitting it!

It was a stand-alone single in 1987. The first thing they did with new members Martin McCarrick and Jon Klein. It's sort of obscure because Siouxsie hated what the producer did with her vocal. It must have been something personal she had against Mike Thorne, because the song is absolutely gorgeous, vocals included, and deserves to be more known.

What do you mean? She did it all the time in the videos and she was great at it!I .I am sure Siouxsie would prefer to sing it live. The programs do this to the bands....They put a studio track over the band playing live.
