The sleeves arent as big of a deal as the gloves. The vest you have will work fine but id suggest gloves with carbon fiber knucles and fingers. I raced road course racing for a while professionally and ive seen some fingers grinded down to the knuckle because of a crash. its nasty man. Not worth it. But just be safe. Love your bike. Truley jealous. only 6 mor emonths for me till i can afford mine! White/red 09' tho ;).
