Young people from the Old Trafford area carried out peer research on the gun & gang problems in their community. They presented their findings to 180 service delegates at Manchester United's theatre of dreams.

thats rubbish, theres loads of jobs in manchester and 3 of the biggest universities in england within a mile or 2 or the city centre, if you want to change you can, its a choice which lifestyle up choose.

shut up stemathz!!! im not black but i've grown up in area's like old trafford and these kids are just a product of there surroundings. you cant help where your brought up! it's a viscouse circle. i dont even blame the kids that are shooting at each other, i know through exspereance that you can get caught up in ANYTHING be it because your family/friends are involved or because they are poverty stricken and see no other way. these kids feel worthless and look to the gangs for support. god bless!

Its good to see people dealing with violence, but thousands more die of asbestosis. That is crime , commited by industry and a class system. Avoiding the bigger picture is an example of ingrained obedience and allowing the 'middle class' and police to dictate the nature of crime. Hypothermia is a criminal act. Anti social behaviour comes down from above.

I am a northerner. Class conscious. Gun crime is a distraction. Anti social criminality is big buisness. 4.50 an hour is an intelectual crime

England's take on guns is completely ass backwards, only bad people have guns when you ban them. You act like because they are banned criminals guns will magically disappear.
