Removal of a proximally located ureteric stone.
In this case a standard nitinol basket is deployed above the stone in order to trap it.
Then the trapped stone is pulled through the distal ureter.

    Thank you for taking the time to comment on my video.You are right of course the ABC in ureteroscopy is safety guidewire insertion under fluoroscopic control.I would not advice a novice or average urologist to do it the way you see me doing it here. The diference is in D of ureteroscopy and that is skill of an expert endourologist like me. As you can see it can be done quite well all the way up to the kidney.

  • aBC uretroscopy is to insert guide wire, otherwisw is very dangerous.

    As an advice try to pull dormia with stone while half closed not fully closed
