@BLESSMAN11 Sorry for the delay but holidays were calling.
Have you tried using the Attach command in the NURBs command panel to join the splines together for further editing. Or applying an Edit Spline modifier to the NURBs curve (not sure if this would work and my Max is currently out of action)
-
@MarcusDesigns is it possible to make a shape using (making a union) of both a nurb curve and spline lines

A fast processor, lots of memory, plenty of hard drive space. The more money you have the better the computer and the faster the software will run. The rest will be up to you.
Never used Unity3D so unable to comment on this specific software but I should think all of the above applies :-)

I'm getting a new PC and im looking to run 3d studio max and unity 3d to their highest capabilities, it's a long shot but do you know if ther's any special requirements? Thanks =P

-
Have you considered using Maya on your Mac for modelling? This product is also offered by Autodesk (they purchased it a while ago) and would be preferable if your PC is slow.

i mean im only 12
You click and drag. Drag type has to be set to Bezier or Smooth. You can also edit spline's vertices by selecting them and then right-clicking and choosing smooth/bezier/bezier-corner. It's your choice.
