billpg & suchanunrulymind discuss the likelihood that Valdosta, Georgia doesn't exist. Or possibly that it's moving farther away as we drive.
This is our Spring 2009 Road Trip to Florida to visit Tom & Huey.

I miss Valdosta. :( I spent part of my childhood growing up there because my parents were stationed in Moody AFB. A few years ago, we road tripped down to FL from my actual hometown in Colorado and stopped in Valdosta. I love how the South small towns don't change much. Texas Roadhouse, mall, etc. are all in the same place they were when we moved back to Colorado. :) Its kinda gratifying. But, I promise you Valdosta is real! There are many smaller towns that really do go by in a blink of an eye.

Lol, good ol' Valdookie, GA as I like to call it. I loved it when you drove right past the Valdosta exit while debating its existence, classic. It really is that much of a hole in the wall, blink and you miss it. As a Valdosta native, I admit, its mythical alright, lol.
