http://www.allout.org/standwithsergey. The fine for defying Russia's anti-gay censorship law? Up to 500,000 rubles. His integrity? Priceless. Sergey Kondrashov was jailed in St. Petersburg, Russia for defying a new draconian "homosexual propaganda" law. His crime? Holding up a sign saying a close family friend, who happens to be lesbian, deserves the same rights as he and his wife. Stand with Sergey - and other Russians who are refusing to be silenced, and challenging the spread of this backwards law nationwide.

We will see. In the future we will know of Western Europe was right to accept homosexuality as a normal variant, or that Eastern Europe (and Russia) was right in not accepting it. Personally I think it is a matter of age; older people tend to have a conservative attitude towards homosexuality, while most of the younger people don't have any problems with it. Anyway, we will see. But your remark about the Netherlands was completely besides the truth.

It will be there, but it doesn't mean that people will actually accept it. the West is doomed already, its own politically correct bullshit is digging its grave. Sober countries that are not infected by political correctness like Russia will have a future.

That is not true. In the Netherlands homosexuality has been accepted by the majority of the Dutch people only since the sixties of the last century. Sorry to tell you that you are completely misinformed. Homosexuality has always been there and always will be, also in Russia.

You stupid fuck. Homosexuality has always been accepted in the Netherlands by the society. In Russia, that has never been the case, and never will.

That has nothing to do with age. We have just different mentalities, different concepts of values.

But no one should force his ideology on other people. Especially when these people belong to different nations and cultures.

I consider this to be fascism.

All nations ought to be sovereign and should have the right to self determination.

... and russian society considers 'homosexual propaganda' as harmful to minors. The big majority of russian population supports this law.

... Consequently, when Russias society considers 'homosexual propaganda', like gay communities pushing ideological views among the youth ('gay is ok'), as harmful to minors, then it would offend against the (human-) rights of parents to protect their children, when the government allowes homosexuals to make 'propaganda' (in the neutral sense of this term).

... Now, of course, an 'offend against freedom', a right or 'harm to society' is nothing absolute, they're not like natural laws and always the same, but you need to find certain definitions for these terms.

So these definitions are relative, they change from culture to culture because people have diffrent concepts of values, different traditions and mentalities. ...
