@drjctu how u write polarity, + or -. its just confusion plz answer anybody ??

@syedhaniraza You arbitrarily choose the polarities (I have another video on passive sign convention). But once you assign the polarities the current direction must start from + (tail) to - (arrow). If you assign the current direction first, then the tail is positive and the arrow is the negative polarity. Hope this helps. Pleas let me know if you have further questions in this area. For V3, how do you know if its VB-0 or 0-VB?

@jamesofasia1 It depends on how you label the current direction. if VB has greater voltage potential (labeled as '+') than ground (labeled as '-' or '0 volts') then the current would flow from Vb to 0 and the voltage difference across the device would be Vb-0. Hope this helps! Dr J
