Back from his hitch in the army, Andy Hardy (Mickey Rooney) returns to college. Once there, he rejoins his frat and is put in charge of the homecoming dance. As such, he has to make sure that every co-ed has a date, even if he has to escort her himself. As a prank, his house president sets hiom up with the one girl that can't get a date. A girl taht's over 6 feet tall.
