World condemns Gaza flotilla raid, Israel says aid convoy 'had weapons on board'

International condemnation is growing after the Israeli Navy attacked a flotilla of ships carrying humanitarian aid and peace activists to Gaza. Reports say up to 20 people were killed and dozens injured as Israeli commandos stormed the vessels over a hundred kilometres off Gaza's coast. Some of the ships are now being towed to the Israeli port city of Ashdod.

You'd have to be a right-wing nut to defend many of Israel's polices, but you'd have to be left-wing loon to not see that this was pre-meditated armed provocation and intended publicity stunt on the part of the activists and chew Israel out over this.

I'm a frequent very strong critic of Israeli policy but are people's judgement so clouded they really can't see that this was pre-meditated armed provocation by the activists on that flotilla, hoping to pull a publicity stunt. They could have gotten their supplies to Gaza through third party groups, but it wasn't enough, they had to break through the Blockade all high and mighty. Even the anti-Israel UN and media reports acknowledged the activists probably planned this.
