Thanks to ya'll, I now know this one is Mississippi Sawyer! I'd played it with different fiddlers but couldn't remember what it was called and it was driving me crazy! Don't know what key it is usually played in, but I'm tuned to Open C and was tickled that I could play a low part., so, at least on the banjo, it works great in C and D. Still working on it, but it's fun to play.
