@RSPproductionz Ok, Well I'm not going to question your accuracy with regards to the television audiences with Hurling and Football(Gaelic) But your wrong with 2500 as an average figure. Derry city get 3500 per game as did Cork when they were in the premier. Rovers have 2500 season ticket holders alone, and average well over 4000 at their games, and Dundalk avaerage 2800, Drogheda get about that because they are poor at the moment, and also soccer is the largest participant sport in ireland.

@Hangfrommyshelf oh yeah? most watched event on tv last year was the all ireland hurling final followed by the football final folloowed by the world cup soccer final. there will be 82k at dublin v donegal this weekend so how is it dying? soccer attendances have died in recent years so many top flight teams like drogheda average around 400 a game. the best teams only average around 2,500. soccer is a dead sport.
