Part 2. I hope you will enjoy this 12 minute adventure into the world of 'no longer a teenager but....' male gung-ho madness.
A few years ago, my friend decided to enter the sport of paramotoring. This short documentary, patched together from 'amateur' footage, charts his first attempt to fly with the motor strapped to his back.
There had been experiments running down hills with just the 'wing' but little could prepare any of us for the day were about to experience.
A Japanese friend provided useful insight in her native language (subtitled where necessary) which I think adds an interesting angle to proceedings. Bewilderment mainly.
I edited the footage and provided tongue-in-cheek narration. Great fun putting it together.
Hope you enjoy watching it as much as I do.
don't you need a licence for this?
look's cool by the way!

yes i am still flying, and i can assure you we all know what we are doing these days. We did notice the hang points during the first flight and changed them before any further flights, so its all ok now. Thanks for the advice though. Happy flying.

If the pilot is still flying the same unit, he needs to really change the hangpoints. It's got him leaning way too far back. Besides leaning too far back and being unsafe, it also causes the pilot to lose efficiency for climbing.

Yes it was a great and very memorable day!! I just wish every weekend could be just like this, good friends, good fun and great summer weather. Hope you all enjoy the vid. Regards to all fellow pilots, Wayne (the pilot)
