Lance Lambert talks to Earl Rubenstein at the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo, CA about this unusual, one-of-a-kind vehicle. This is a short segment from a longer episode of The Vintage Vehicle Show.
It does not look anything like a porsche, they stated in the video it was of hudson design. Wouldnt take no 1/2 mil. to restore though, just hard to find parts.
WTF would take $500,000 to restore on this car? It looks like maybe 60-and-out to me, and that's if the interior is s**t. They're going to take the body off-frame, yes, but it's HUDSON running gear, for Crissakes, nothing unique.
Doesn't take 1/2 million to restore anything, just a lot of work and the very basic of tools and supplies. I did a motorbike all the way through last summer, its just a lot of patient work, nothing more. Nothing requires gold plating or diamond studding. Best to just do it as a hobby and take your time enjoying doing it.
Kind of looks like the Phantom Corsair.

That restoration quote sounds like they're working with US government accounts! Remember the $200 hammers $ $1000 haircuts?
