Laurinha Figueroa (Glória Menezes) is a milionary Lady from a traditional and very important family who lost all the money and the status. She, a very cult woman, chic, elegant, see suddenly her moral values came down and doesn´t accept the situation of the new riches, who don´t have culture, education nor tradition. She decided to commit suicide when lost even her Palace. She won´t live anymore in a country with people with deseases, poverty,without savoir-faire. This soap opera was created in 1990 and it shows properly the situation of the riches who couldn´t pay anymore their bills. It´s wonderful.
