So I thank George bush for his service to our nation
Now I must take over and run this organization
Times are bad, our economy is weak
Were in a war and now here I speak

For this next generation of Americans we reign
If we battle through the struggles we go through for gain
Homes have been lost, jobs have been shed
No Healthcare, why else choose blue over red?

We gather because we have chosen hope over fear
This is the dawn of a new life, a new quest, a new year
Our ancestors have fought, even died for their dreams
So things havent change as much as it seems
This is the journey we continue today
