As a duo with my wife "Linda Russell and Bruce", I worked supporting the Karl Denver trio several times, and got to know Kevin Neil through his work with "The Bachelors" - and in less affluent times with "The Back Lane Enders" - a great guy ... sadly missed.

Fantastic talent, I grew up in the 60s listening to Karl, real music, so sorry the last of the group have now passed on, may they all rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon them, thank you for posting these classics, we will not see their like again.

Kevin died peacefully on Saturday March 13th 2010 at six o'clock in the evening, surrounded by his family at his home in Manchester.
Kevin's career spanned over six decades, as a trombone player with bands like Joe Loss and Eric Winstone, as a guitar player with the Karl Denver Trio and finally as a member of The Bachelors for the last 15 years.
