I am still haunted by that day at Villa Park and their fans reaction was overzealous and unwarranted. They didn't need to go that over the top. I am glad we won 6-0 against them at home this season.

I am a newcastle supporter and actually worked at St James' during this season and have to say getting relegated was probably one of the best things for the club at the time as they could get rid of overpaid players like michael owen etc.
As for the sale of Carrol that was one of the worst decisions ive seen in many many years.

Ok, firstly, If we played with Carroll and Ameobi then we'd have no pace upfront, which would be useless. Play with Lovenlrands and Carroll, we have the perfect blend of Strenght and arial ability, mixed with Pace and agility, the perfect match.
Secondly, Ryan Taylor, yes he is good at crossing and freekicks etc, but he isn't the best defender, Simpson is still a good crosser, is faster and stronger than Taylor and is less prone to making mistakes therefore isn't as good as Simpson.
