@baileybushey ok... maybe i was a bit harsh... i am 17 mind you haha, i just really like the movie that came out in '06 or '07, and i didn't like the pbs series as much as i liked the movie, but that's just me :P i'll always be a curious george fan :)

"Horrible new cartoons?" The current series is great. Also . . . hi, it's actually fully animated and not just mostly static pages. I liked and enjoyed the originals back when they were on USA's Calliope series many, many, many moons ago, but I dig what the current producers are doing on the new series too. Quite entertaining and educational too.

I think I remember another variation of this theme song, slightly different, when it used to air on Nick back in the '80s. Can't find it though.

my two year old is in love with this song from me singing it when we read the books, and is thoroughly unimpressed with the new version of the show which he has on dvd. so glad you posted this, it made us both smile!

I watched curious george all the time as a kid, my daughter loves the new one, I do too. As far as the new theme song goes, it's written and performed by the legendary Dr. John the night tripper

When I saw the NY Post Headline "Furious George" referring to the attack of Travis the Chimp, I couldn't help but come up with lyrics.
