@wilfredc190 Yes the piece at the rear is removable. Although in general, most people asked will say there really shouldn't be a passenger on this bike.

@krrssr87 if your talking about the older Honda CBR 250r/rr (80's/90's) than yes totally agree... but not the new one.

@dumkitch ur comment is old incase others are in similar situation, your slightly heavier than my hubby & my ninja 250 can handle his weight, it would look a bit funny with your height... who care what other people think though plenty of tall guys in Oz ride em when starting out cause learners are restricted here. Some taller guys go the Ninja 650 over here but its a restricted version for the learner market. Even without the restriction its probably better to learn on than a zx6r.

my 1st bike was a 2008 lime green zx-6r i was fine on it just didnt act like an idoit, i now own a 2006 r1
