@cheapy2006 and BTW - yeah - this is a North American Opossum - we get them in the yard alot where we are - they dont bother anything and like i said they eat things we REALLY HATE - so i let them be! they usually run if you walk toward them although i once came around the corner and suprised one while he was "bug hunting" around the house and he totally hissed at me like a super pissed off cat! LOL

@cheapy2006 @cheapy2006 LOLOL! lotsa ppl think theyre something 2 freak out on &get um outta the yard -etc. BUT- they eat big bugs! like roaches &things i REALLY want out! i have a friend that HAD ONE as a PET! yah i KNO right?! LOL-but seriously -he actually did make a pretty good pet -he was smart -litter trained -came when called by name&he had a personality 4 sure -he liked to play fetch! crazy huh? but obviously thers enuff ppl out there hav them bc exotic animal breeders sell them as pets

@kbabygirl1121 i'm not familiar with possums, but i know that americans detest them as being vermin.

if so i can understand the aversion to them. they look like big slow-moving stoned rats with massive claws!!
