I like chakaflat, had a "moment" when this song played during the series. I immediately had to share it with my wife and children. I like SnoeLaCone, never liked any of the previous Stargates. To me, they were just too "sci-fi campy". This series however, had depth. it developed characters and storylines over a period of time rather than one episode. I deployed overseas OCT 2010. I just returned. I am saddend with the news of the cancellation. I hope (doubt) they will bring it back.

Did the mistake of watching this episode with my newborn baby girl asleep on me.

Lets just say i got a little emotional. Took me a couple of minutes to try and explain to my wife what had happened.

hopefully they will not cancel SGU....its a refreshing take for the Stargate Franchise especially with scenes like this...now bring on SG1 and Atlantis Movies!

I have never watched any stargate and i tired this one.. its not great but for some reason i do dig it.. i think its over the top.. and not written well. but the actors made up for it.

@Mrzombiedrummer actually i think the way they ened it was perfect leaves it open to come back very easily in one of 2 ways eli fixes the pod or eli gets in the chair also they could get all new actorsa just use the ship as the go between say it had to shift their minds around to save the core crew save the ones it knows have the best chance of competeing the mission just wishing out loud thanks for you kindness
