    These fish were coming mainly from around 12-14 feet of water

  • you do have some nice crappies in your pond but if you ever come to mississippi you really need to fish lake Sardis , Grenada , and Enid , i'm talking about 3lb crappies

  • Thanks, I have heard that the south does have a lot of big slabs down that way, there have been a number of 2 pound plus caught up here lately but not by me

  • Have you ever tried epoxying a single leg guide above the tip of the rod? Thats what i do. That way you don't have to run the line through the coil of the spring bobber, just the loop on the end. Those Frabill spring bobbers always freeze up on me, so if i can avoid running it through a coil, i will.

  • during the winter in Minnesota, there are old iron ore mines that are filled with crappies, sunfish, bass, trout, etc. the crappies always bite in th evening. its worth staying late
