there is somthing about that picture that just brought back somthing buried in my subconscious.
I remember this as a child.
i have compleatly forgotten about it.
this is bizzar.
Im going to start crying about my mom soon now. I remember that she bought this for me at a cheap shop when i was like 7 or 8. Rest in peace mom.

I remember this as I had it as a child. I'm sure it's up in the attic as I still have most everything I ever got through the years. BTW...The "tone" in the recording is a signal to turn the page.

@TheBookWorm1718 the book also hints very VERY strongly that the horseman was really Brom Bones.

Thank you thank you thank you for uploading this! My brothers and I used to listen to this every Halloween before going Trick-or-Treating until our record player broke. Then we lost the record itself in a move. It's so wonderful to hear it again after so many years :)

@Ander0072originalv2 The original story had it that some suspected Ichabod had been killed, but others said he went back to Connecticut, married a rich widow and became a lawyer...too bad Washington Irving never wrote a sequel, that would've been interesting to see which direction he'd take.
