  • if it breaks........

  • This thing looks scary as hell!!! even if it doesn't have a machine gun on top, the sight of this thing coming at you would probably make most people turn the other way and run!

p.s is it just me or does this machine look a bit like a skeleton??

  • as a SRDTE (senior research and development technical engineer) for DARPA, these tests are purely for show and have no practical use in modern warfare.

  • Ripsaw screaming at you....

  • @cplboyd i can because i have a dislike for hummers for some reason, the H1's yeah sure, they were PERFECT for their element of war transport. but these H2's and H3's are just STUPID.

  • @pedekiller

how can you compare a wheeled manned vehicle like the hummer/humvee's to a tracked unmanned vehicle? not to mention the age gap between the 2, one is new w/ new technology and the other is old w/ old technology thats like comparing a corvette to a prius lol. the hummer/humvee served well and is a capable platform, but as war's become more fluid and more technology advanced you end up w/ stuff like ripsaws.

  • Ive got too say the Ripchair which is the most recent I know about is pretty damn awasom. I build hot rods which is alot different from this kind of stuff but I feel it is close. Our shop is close anyways i could put it that way lol

  • ...a shock mount. epic.

  • @fivemagiks5

Needs a couple of XL Dyson motors

  • A whole bunch of A123 cells, (self organizing batteries) In conjunction with some solar panels and hydrogen, for recharging. A few brushless motors some massive speed controllers and one nasty set of servos.... ;-)

  • @nyprogressive Unfortunately, your concerns will not be eased as time goes on.

  • @fivemagiks5 And what sort of power source would you suggest we use for that?
